Mary Rita Holland is a longtime resident of Kingston, an experienced public policy expert, and a tireless champion of local causes.
Over the past number of years, she has had the unique opportunity to speak with the entire district. Having worked on food drives in Kingscourt, canvassed door-to-door in Rideau Heights and helped clean-up parks in Markers Acres.
Mary Rita currently serves as the Project Manager of SirJohnA2015, which honour’s the life of our first Prime Minister, bringing valuable tourism to Kingston, and encouraging youth engagement with our heritage.
Mary Rita works tirelessly on a range of local causes. She helped start the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market, to encourage greater public use of the Memorial Centre site and provide easier access to locally grown food for residents of Kingscourt-Rideau.
A passionate advocate for Kingston, Mary Rita Holland wants to help ensure that people feel included politically, economically, and socially in our city.
She lives in Kingston with her partner, Dave, and their seven-year-old daughter, Ailsa.
