What was your experience of the 2014 municipal election? The City of Kingston is offering opportunities for electors to provide feedback on the 2014 municipal election:
– At a public meeting of the administrative policies committee, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 12 in Council Chambers at City Hall, 216 Ontario St.
– Through an online survey at <http://www.CityofKingston.ca/
For the 2014 municipal election the City introduced new technology, in addition to paper ballots. This resulted in an increase in voter turnout. “We want to improve our election processes to increase voter participation even more. We want to hear from you,” says John Bolognone, city clerk.
Results from this public consultation will be presented at the administrative policies committee on March 12.
